Once you decide to go ahead with the project, we’ll arrange a full survey of the building or site and begin drawings of the existing floor plans and elevations.
Taking everything you have told us, we produce a number of concept designs that fit your requirements. Although not always required, we believe this is the most important phase to ensure any costly alternations are avoided once on site. We then talk you through each design to ensure all options have been considered before you decide on the solution that’s perfect for you.
The concepts are turned into our planning archetype for you to approve. These planning drawings ensure clarity of the proposals and demonstrate the advantages clearly to the local authority and aid a successful determination of a planning application.
Once approved we submit the drawings to your local planning department. It can take up to 10 weeks for the council to make their decision, but we monitor the application and work with the council, keeping you updated throughout.
The approved plans are developed into working drawings. We apply precision and an unrivalled level of detail in these plans to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency. These are then submitted to your local building control department. The drawings can also be used for tender and construction purposes to minimise any required extras during the building phase. This ensures our service provides maximum value as our drawings can be used for all aspects not just building control.
