Domestic Renovation

Brief

The existing property had previously been extended and modified but had left the home lacking character, and a poor flow internally. Our brief was to remodel the home to create a modern open family space that allowed everyone to interact, whilst keeping an evening room that the family could retire to once the children had gone to bed.

The Solution

Utilising the already extended spaces, our aim was to create a better flow through the property and maximise the light throughout.

We proposed a two storey splayed bay that includes stone mullions and detailing, altering the roof line and creating a main front entrance. An open plan kitchen and family area was created at the rear of the house, incorporating roof lights, a large glazed roof and 7m long bi-folding doors to fill the area with natural light.

By moving the position of the stairs within the property we were able create a fabulous light  impactful entrance, with feature roof lights above.

To ensure maximum value we utilised as much of the existing structural walls etc., we were able to deliver a complete remodel of the property with a high quality finish, but without unnecessary build costs.
